Hope International Baptist Church is an evangelical church founded in 1994 as a ministry to English-speaking people. The church is located near to the center of the city of Rotterdam. Our aim is to serve the international community in this city and the surrounding towns and villages and offer services to both temporal and permanent residents of the area, as well as to provide a kind of an “away from home" for those coming to Rotterdam either for visit, business, or for study either for a shorter or longer period of time.

The bible says the Christian Church is “... a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God.." (1 Pet. 2:9). In that sense our first and foremost task is to declare the praises of the One who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light. We are therefore a group of Christians coming together from diverse backgrounds and united through Christ Jesus by the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit to provide a place of worship and fellowship for the experiencing of God’s unlimited love, peace, and to declare His praises.

We are here therefore to help and encourage all to come to faith in Christ Jesus and pursue their spiritual pilgrimages, here and abroad. It is our greatest desire as a family of God to provide regular times of worship, song, prayer, preaching, teaching and counseling to the international community. While you are living in or visiting the area for a shorter or longer period of time, we invite you to come and join us worship the Creator of the universe and make our church your church too. We enjoy the diversity of the different nationalities, denominations and traditions that are represented in the body.
